While High Definition is mostly thought of as a broadcast television format, it is also the single best video format that has ever been invented for the production of professional film, television or video programming.

Stonehenge has chosen to actively embrace this new format, realizing early on that this was not just a new format but more of a revolution in the way professional production can be shot, edited and delivered…a video medium that had the look and quality of film, with the flexibility, ease and cost effectiveness of conventional video.

Stonehenge has taken a clear leadership role in Canada, with over 3 years’ experience working in the HD 24P format. We have over 40 HD productions to our credit.

Having shot more HD projects than any other production group in Canada , we now have one of the country’s largest HD stock libraries, with over 125 hours of fabulous footage.

Why High Definition production?

Digital High Definition, particularly 24P HD, is the ideal format for quality, cost and flexibility

• HD features High Quality images equal to 35mm motion picture images
• Resolution and colour imagery is about 6 x greater than standard definition television
